A Very Thankful Thanksgiving

This year is doubly sweet in our household as we all feel incredibly thankful for the arrival of our sweet baby John. There is nothing like a healthy baby to help you put life in perspective and really focus on what matters. Once the turkey is gone and the last pie plate has been scraped clean I hope that each and every one of you takes a moment to reflect on all the good that is unfolding around you. It’s so easy for me to get bogged down in unthankful thoughts. Each day I am working on choosing good over bad, laughter instead of tears, and love instead of hate. It isn’t always easy but I know that when I focus on what matters and being kind to the world around me it makes me feel healthier and happier. And lastly I will remember that I am a work in progress. Each day is a chance to do it better and I am thankful for that too.
