Read: The Girl On The Train

Talk about a nail biter. The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins is a quick read. Even supreme sleep deprivation couldn’t keep me from staying up late into the night finishing this book. It’s cleverly written and has just the right amount of scary to keep you on the edge of your seat. Add suspense to some really unique character development and you have a great vacation read. If you are heading out of town this summer (or even are just staying close to home but have some down-time planned) I seriously recommend this book. It’s also a fascinating look at one woman’s inability to beat alcoholism. The reasons for her demise are captivating and disturbing. The author creates characters you feel sympathy for and cannot stand at the same time. I’m still thinking about it a month after finishing…

I am literally at the tail end of this book and would wake up in the wee hours to keep reading. Love it!
