Food That Heals

Vital Proteins Matcha Collagen Powder – I am on a major matcha green tea kick again. This powder is my favorite because it isn’t too strong and it has collagen powder too. It’s good for the skin, and 1/3 the caffeine of a strong cup of coffee. Green tea also has loads of antioxidants. I’m feelin’ it!

Nomz Energy Bites – This is a clean version of that yummy protein ball we all wish we had time to make weekly and have for a midafternoon pick-me-up. Each pouch has two balls, and they have just 5 or 6 healthy whole ingredients in each type of protein bite. I love when I can easily read and know what each ingredient is in a snack.

Kate’s Real Food Energy Bars – I can’t with this brand. These bars taste like a homemade treat. Just the right amount of nut bitter to make them rich and creamy, but enough crunch to make them feel like a meal supplement when you are in pick up and skipped lunch. My little guy LOVES them too which is a bonus because I am always looking for ways to up his protein and fat intake.

Cocomel Bites – Brace yourself for this one. I double dog dare you not to eat ten! But if you have willpower than a bag of these are great to keep in the cupboard so you can grab one or two when you really have a sugar craving!

Fix and Fogg Everything Butter – I make homemade muffins and then drizzle this on top of them for an added richness and crunch. It really helps to keep you feeling full until lunch!

Kelp Noodles – I recently did a food reset that included a little fasting and a gluten/dairy/soy/corn free diet. I threw these noodles into my bone broth with some veggies and I felt like I was eating old school ramen.
