It’s time to celebrate our town! Greenwich is 375 years old and part of the year long celebration is taking place this Sunday at 2pm. It’s a parade! There will be more than 300 marchers including the Second Company of the Governor’s Foot Guard, the Sons and Daughters of the American Revolution, marching bands, fife and drum corps, brass and bugle corps, elaborate floats, antique cars, vintage and modern fire trucks, Cub and Boy Scout troops, Brownie (and one little Daisy named Emma Pless!) and Girl Scout troops, Shriners’ cars, and even the iconic Wells Fargo carriage and horses. The parade starts at Town Hall, proceeds up to the Avenue, and then down the Avenue to Havemeyer Field. Please come out and join the fun because who doesn’t love a good parade?
