I’m feeling a little behind over here on the Christmas front. With just 8 days to go until the big day I am busy scouring the internet for something special for each person on my list. We are hug fans of stockings in our home and that’s often where I receive my favorite gifts. The little things. Here are a few of my favorites for that special woman in your life… Wife, mom, sister, daughter or friend!
Nuance Lip Balm – I usually buy this one at CVS. I put it on before bed and first thing in the morning. It’s the perfect amount of shine.
Stila BB Cream – This is hands-down my favorite face cream when I know I will be outdoors. The SPF means my face doesn’t get sunburned and the slight tint and shimmer make my face look more rested and refreshed.
Egyptian Magic Cream – This cream is sent from the heavens above. I’ve mentioned it before on the blog here. I slather it all over my face before bed. It’s greasy feeling at first, but soaks in within 5 minutes. I credit this stuff with getting rid of some serious crows feet near my eyes. It is also great for dry skin patches on babies and kids! ALL NATURAL too!
Nature’s Gate Lotion – I started using this cream when I was pregnant with JT because I liked that it is organic and non-GMO. Then when he was a newborn he spent a lot of time cuddled up to my skin when nursing. I bought it for him and then fell in love with it for me.
Nuxe Moisturizer – This face cream is what I use during the winter during the day. It smells fantastic and is thick enough for combination skin during the dry cold months.
Bark Thins Chocolate – when I can’t get my hands on a cup of coffee I sneak a few pieces of this dark chocolate for a little caffeine boost. It’s great for breakfast. 🙂
Chanel Nail Glow – This clear polish remains my favorite. I’m not a big fan of manicures (I chip them too quickly!) but I use this at home on myself all the time. It’s pricey but you can keep it and use it for months. The bottle never seems to dry out.
Mary Kay Hand Cream (email:[email protected] to order!) – This hand cream set was a gift from a friend for my birthday and I am in LOVE with it. Literally best (fragrance free) hand cream and scrub I have ever used.
Amazon Gift Card – I spend my life on Amazon. Books, crafts, socks, games… You can never go wrong with an Amazon gift card as a teacher gift or stocking stuffer.
Maybelline Concealer – I have said it before here and I’ll say it again. This concealer erases all signs of exhaustion. It really does.
And if you think your man might need a little help when it comes to stuffing your stocking – then forward this email to him. You will both be thrilled when he nails it this year!
Hey Lindley!
Long time no see. I ended up marrying one of your fellow Yalies and she’s started a jewelry and accessories company I think you might be interested in. I’m including the link to her site here.
Hope you and your beautiful family are well and enjoying the holidays!
