A few years back I was introduced to the Breast Cancer Alliance. They are a lean mean cancer fighting machine. With a team of just two full time employees – they host incredible events, pay for grants and research projects, and help women who couldn’t otherwise afford it to get the health services they need when it comes to breast cancer and proper testing. Too often I have friends tell me they, or someone they love, is battling breast cancer. The Breast Cancer Alliance is the first place I send them for information and support. The money they receive goes to the cause, which makes donating a worthwhile investment.
Last year I co-chaired the cutest little fashion show you ever did see as a fundraiser and “friendraiser” for the BCA. This year we are hosting the same event, with even more fun planned. There will be a short runway show with young models, face painting, balloon animals, and snacks and drinks for all. We purposefully host the event on Super Bowl Sunday (Feb. 5th) so you can bring your kiddos from 2-4pm and tire them out. Then you can put them to bed early, and watch the Super Bowl in peace. Ha!
Please consider the Breast Cancer Alliance in your yearly giving even if you can’t make the event. If you’d like to join us you can buy tickets here. And here is the video that the BCA hired me to make last year. It gives you a great sense of all the amazing work they are doing. Yay yay BCA!
