Sometimes from up close our world can look so scary. Jarring, fast-paced, and frenetic. It’s tough to see the fine details as car goes whizzing by and people shout when only inches away from each other. But then we step back a little, look from a distance, and get some perspective on what the picture looks like as a whole. That’s when we find serenity. I adore this work by Tom Blachford titled “Aerial Summer” in which the artist captures Melbourne, Australia from above. The self taught 26 year old was gifted a session in a helicopter for his birthday. He snapped 1200 staggering images. Look, enjoy, and fade away into the hypnotic patterns of the world below.

Lin-
These are the kind of pictures that make me want to be a fish instead of a bird (if you know that common question)!
HOWEVER, ever heard of SHARK WEEK!!
