Beauty: 5-Minute Make-Up

Make-Up

I like to think of myself as a pretty natural person. Some days (especially weekend mornings when we walk to town for coffee and bagels) I go make-up free. But during the week and when I go out at night I like to add a little “shine” to brighten my face and make the tired eyes and laugh lines a little less apparent. Below is the quick and dirty on how I make myself up in 5 minutes flat. All of these products can be applied without brushes or tools. It’s a great way to keep your morning routine on a tight schedule.

MU-Stila

I start with a dime size amount of this Stila Illuminating BB Cream. I gently rub it all over my face and neck. I love that it’s spf 30 and adds a little color/glow to my skin.

MU-Concealer2

This Maybelline Dream Lumi Concealer is the best I’ve found on the market and it is very affordable. I paint a little under each eye and dab a drop on my actual eyelid. I then gentle dab it into place with my ring finger. I pick one up at CVS every 3-4 months. It comes in 4 shades and is the one thing I ALWAYS use when I need a pick-me-up!

MU-Clinique

This Clinque Chubby Stick in the color “Amber Apple” is great! Again – no brush needed and it won’t crumble if it gets knocked around in your make-up bag. I swipe it onto my eyelid right in the deepest part and gentle smudge it out and up a little with my finger.

MU-Eyes

MU-RMS

This RMS Beauty Living Luminizer is great! I use my finger to swipe a little just under my eyebrow. It gives your face a great glow and is also ideal just above your blush on the highest part of your cheekbone.

MU-Brow

MU-Nars

This Nars Multiple Make-Up Stick in “Riviera” is fantastic. It makes your cheeks look dewy and sun-kissed. Again, no brush needed.

MU-Cheeks

MU-Mascara

CoverGirl Lash Blast Mascara in “Black/Brown” is my staple and has been for years. It never runs and doesn’t clump. Cross my heart!

MU-Bobbi

Lastly I swipe on a little Bobbi Brown Lip Gloss in “Buff” and I am all set.
