Best Buys – Summer 2019

It’s been mighty silent over here on the blog, because back-to-school has been bananas. I thought I would come back at ya after a little hiatus with some of my favorite finds from this summer. Each and every thing on this list gave me all the feels this summer. Hope they give them to you too!

And stay tuned for more posts in the weeks ahead. I’ve got a great travel post, home organizers, and some really good book reviews all in the cue!

Moa Aphrodite Face Oil – Since figuring out I have a lanolin allergy, I have been using a lot more facial oils. They tend to use simple ingredients and are often vegan. This facial oil smells like heaven and is extremely luxurious on the skin.

LOLA Bar – Vegan and gluten free make a happy stomach for me. And then they add in probiotics. They taste amazing and are filling enough to count as breakfast in a pinch.

Olive and June Nail Polish – Best. Color. Ever. This brand is 7-Free, meaning the polish does not contain dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, camphor, ethyl tosylamide, or xylene. It looks beautiful and clean, easy to swipe on one coat as you are headed out the door. And so far it doesn’t chip at all. BONUS!

Beautycounter Lip Gloss & Countertime Collection – There is almost nothing that Beautycounter makes that I don’t like. This lip gloss in opal-moonstone looks perfect with that end-of-summer tan. I’d even dare to say it pairs nicely with pajamas for the school drop off too. It really makes you feel more put together. 😉 And the new collection of skincare products is selling like hotcakes. It features their plant-derived Retinatural Complex, and is designed to visibly firm, brighten, and plump the skin. Yes please!

Pendelton Inzozi Planter – I just hung three African woven bowls on my wall and they make me happy when I look at them. This planter, in a similar style, is perfect to add a little tribal vibe to any mantel or coffee table.
