All-Natural

As the dry winds drift off to sea and the humidity returns I find my skin is completely schizophrenic. I know that in a few months I will be reaching for a lighter moisturizer but for now, on the tail of a week in the sun for spring break, my skin is flaky and dry. Thank God for these products. I love that they are all natural and made with ingredients I recognize and can pronounce. The Egyptian Magic Cream and e.Oil are just what my skin needs right now. And while we were away in the islands this Ava Anderson all natural bug spray came in very handy. There’s a little something for everyone!

This cream is – well – magical. It is. It is thick and creamy but absorbs into the skin incredibly quickly. Many people use it for small abrasions, rashes, and dry patches on hands and feet. I slather it on my face before bed and I swear I wake up with less wrinkles. The best news – they sell Egyptian Magic at CostCo. Cha-ching!

This body oil is so moisturizing that a teaspoon full is enough for your whole body.  It smells heavenly so you can even skip wearing perfume. Their body scrub is also fabulous. Their products are made in the USA and the brand was created right here in Greenwich. I’m all for a local brand!

I have always been slightly suspicious about bug spray. Just so many toxins and then there is the whole DEET dilemma too… This bug spray works incredibly well and smells minty fresh. I would feel comfortable using it on even a very young baby. This brand, Ava Anderson, was created by a 14 year old girl who was unsatisfied by the toxic products she found around her at home and in stores. Because she’s a complete rockstar she convinced her parents to help her start her own brand of non-toxic products. (What were you doing at age 14?) They make everything from home cleaning products to face cream and make-up. They are not to be missed!
