Many of you will remember a few years back when I bought myself white Birkenstocks to my husband John’s deep dismay. I can happily report that those shoes became and have stayed my most worn shoes in warmer seasons. They are heaven on the feet and I think they look pretty cute too. John never turned a corner on the old Birks, so you can imagine how he felt when I told him I’d be buying clogs (the closed toe equivalent of crunchy Birkenstocks) to wear this fall. I’m pretty sure he immediately had flashbacks of matronly art-teachers who taught him macramé and the pottery wheel back in his younger years. Here’s the good news. Clogs have come a long way in the last few years. Here’s a round up my favorites right now as well as some inspiration shots.

Let’s see a photo of the white ones…the birkenstocks you love. Please?
