No quarters for the meter?

Smart Card Station on The Sentimentalist

BINGO!

I usually only post 3 times a week but this gloomy weather in Connecticut calls for an “added bonus post”. Ever found yourself near Greenwich Avenue without any quarters for the meter? You take a chance, run into a shop, and 20 minutes later find yourself with a big fat $25 ticket on your windshield. Not cool. I’ve always been a fan of the metered parking “smart card” you can buy at Town Hall. A few times a year I head to Town Hall to refill my card with a $30 credit and that usually lasts me for months. It’s not convenient – especially since you have to put a quarter in the meter while you go inside to buy the card. Oh the irony… But now I come to you with good news! Who knew there was a card buying/refilling station just behind the CVS off of Greenwich Avenue. There is! Head on over, buy a card or fill up the one you have, and rest easy if you are quarter-free in the months to come.
