Maria Semple’s most recent novel, Today Will Be Different, is hot off the presses and almost as good as her last book I read. I fell head over heels in love with Maria Semple’s last book, Where’d You Go, Bernadette, and love that Semple in both books chooses a protagonist who is quirky, funny, and slightly teetering on the edge of reason. This book is equal parts comedy and drama. It’s just the right kind of book to take along if you are traveling this holiday season. It’s light, a quick read, and highly entertaining.
